Just got a Q2. What is the best way to transfer game play progress/data from my Q1 to my games I'll have to re-download on the Q2? I currently back up my game data on the Q1 via Sidequest but, honestly, I don't even know if that works because I've never had the need to restore anything...until now... Will importing the Q1 saved data from Sidequest work on the Q2? I am NOT starting all my games over again from the beginning. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the Q2 or not, so this will be an absolute deal breaker if I can't reliably restore game data on the Q2. Thanks!
Well, I got it to connect but it looks like a no go on restoring saved game data. I tried on several games and it didn't work once. It even locked up Arizona Sunshine where I had to uninstall/reinstall it. Such a waste. Guess the new Q2 is getting returned. Come on Oculus...you should be better than this... Hell, we should have CLOUD STORAGE for all game data by now. This is really going to tank any future generation Quests, at least for me since they won't let us migrate to a new one seamlessly.
