[SOLVED] Oculus Quest Charger Not Working

As mentioned earlier, I now have a solution to the ‘Oculus Quest Charger Not Working’.

In order for the Quest charger to function properly you must plug it in firmly then slightly lift up the bottom of the ending attached to the Quest. 

You should see a little bit of the white metal USB C popping out and I guarantee you that it will charge. 

Try it now and if it works for you if so then like this/mark as answered/comment to let me know it worked. 

FYI I’ve still gotten a replacement so I will inspect if it’s the same on others however I doubt the issue will be on another Quest since not everyone had this charging issue.

If you need to fiddle with the cable, then it sounds like the cable has a bad wire connection inside the plug. I found the included cable doesn't like to be bent...with mine, it was enough for power, but it wouldn't register as the headset connected to my pc to do any sideloading. As soon as I jiggled the wire near the plug end...it connected to pc, then disconnected that fast again. Bad wiring, due to the fact the cable doesn't like to be bent near the plug end. I've since been using a 2m cable from CableCreation instead that I picked up for use with a battery pack. I haven't had an issue since.

Does not work for me but thanks for posting.  Waiting (hopefully it won't take days/weeks) for Oculus Support to get back to me

Unfortunately this does not work for me either. I do wish it did!

My solution was to send mine back and get another. I just got the replacement and I have my fingers crossed that there will be no problems with this one.

 My oculus quest is charging but it is taking longer to charge than usual it usually only takes about 50 minutes to full charge from 8% but now it’s taking about 40 minutes per percentage please help I haven’t even had it  for more than two weeks

(Update)  last night I went to bed at 12 AM with it being at 19%  this morning I woke up at 11 and now it’s only at 40% it is fairly charged listen here I haven’t had it for even two weeks I swear to God if this isn’t fixed then I want a refund on all my games and on the quest I want my money back

I’ve had the same problem in charging. the charger and cable are working fine however its taking forever to charge only reaching for 15% and drain really quick.
I tried everything but nothing.
If someone has any tip or advise guys please help!

I was also having the same charging issue with very slow charging. Did what a few people said worked by swapping the ends and putting the right angle end in the charging block and the straight end into the headset and checked battery 5 minutes later and it went from 3% to 13% vs 3% to 4% in 30 minutes when plugged in how the manual and setup suggests.
