I bought a oculus link cable and hooked it up to my HP Pavillion witch has a gtx 1650 .. come to find out its not fast enough and a message appeared on the screen saying that my computer won't support vr and may lead to poor vr experience.. I opened the rift home screen just to see what it looked like and it was awful lol so I unplugged the link cable and played vr .. I went into my vr this morning and its acting lagish and the straight lines are moving .. like squiggly kinda and it looks awful in YouTube vr ... it always played fine before and had no issues with resolution.. lines where sharp and crisp and dint look like strobes.. everything I've looked up says hooking the link cable to a slow computer won't hurt the quest .. it will either work or not but soon as you unplug the link cord should be business as usual so I'm assuming that's not the problem.. it only has maybe 10 hours of game play .. I've done a factory reset with no improvement.. I only use oculus products so to not void warranty.. its pretty new but I have all the popular game titles .. it puts alot of strain on the eyes now ? can anyone tell me what to do ?? Is there a way I can check if everything is working properly like a diagnostic or something?? ANY HELP would be appreciated I love my oculus and am buying a new laptop to connect it to so I can play half life alyx and the ghost hunting game .. anyway I'm rambling.. any helpful tips would be appreciated.. ty
