Sweat Solutions?

Overall I'm so impressed with the Q2, even just with the standard strap. My biggest complaint though is the "face interface" which absorbs sweat like crazy. It's a horrible design. I've gone so far as to buy an '80's style headband and that helps a lot, but it makes the positioning of the strap a little more difficult. My understanding is that the other facial interfaces are made of the same material, so that doesn't seem to be a solution. Are there any third-party options? Any other ideas about how to avoid getting the facial interface all sweaty?

Oh and a side effect of the sweat problem is the fogging problem. Anyone have a solution for that too?

This perfectly solves the problems you mentioned.  Works on both Quest 1 and 2

Can't post a link but just search Amazon for:

"MASiKEN VR Face Silicone Cover Mask & Lens Protect"

I've been using since first getting the Quest 1.  Fits perfectly.  No light bleed, no fogging, and handles sweating without mucking up the original Quest foam material.  It may have a small fold or two at first but it will form nicely once used a couple of times.  A huge improvement for a comfy feel to the face as well.

A good desktop or free-standing fan works best for me.  Helps keep ya cool and fog-free.  Also helps prevent motion sickness because it helps give you an idea of which way you are facing.

So do you have a Q2 and use it with that? One review on Amazon said it was not a great fit for the Q2. TomCgcmfc said:

This cord-free VR setup is getting more complicated by the minute!

Yes I have the Quest 2 and it fits perfectly.  Actually I think it fits better than on my quest 1.  On the quest 1 it didn't fit quite as snug around the center of the nose area.  On the quest 2 it stays nice and snug.  I can't speak for an amazon reviewer I can only tell you my experience.  This same cover also fits nicely on my CV1 as well, by the way.

More than sweat, it just feels uncomfortable on my face. Feels itchy and hot. I'm waiting until some third party release a faux leather face plate or something like that. Will also look into the silicone one.
