Tracking issues (FIX)

Hi, this forum is for if you are having tracking issues. If none of these work, please comment on the forum and ill do my best to help you!

First, check that your batteries are 1.5 volts and not 1.2 volts! 1.2 volt batteries do not work inside of oculus controllers and will cause bad tracking. If you have 1.5 volts, replace the batteries if they are low.

If that doesn't work, clean the headset cameras, and make sure there is enough light and not too much light! Also make sure there are not too many reflective surfaces, paintings, etc.

If those dont work, raise your tracking frequency by going to the mobile app, connect to the headset, click settings>advanced>tracking frequency>60hz and thats it, reset your headset and see if that works

One problem for me is if the headset goes to sleep, and then wakes up the tracking is bad, so just a simple reset helps.

Also try uninstalling and reinstalling the oculus app.

If none of those helped, ask me any questions or tell me your issues!

Sincerely, Harrison Daft - A random guy wanting to be helpful
