Transferring apps

I have the quest and was wondering if I upgrade to the quest 2 do all my apps that I have purchased transfer over?

Your apps belong to your account, not your headset, so yes they will. Be aware that some apps have cloud saves and some don't. So, when you download apps that don't have saves, all your progress will be lost.
