Turning on hand tracking causes my controller tracking to get messed up (the controllers are offset and don't move right), and tracking wont turn on. I dont know why this does that, but the only way to fix it is to factory reset the device. Its happened 3 times in a row and I dont know id this issue is just mine.

Controller tracking was working before, and didn't work after, and auto-switch was not inabled. I've tried adjusting lights and changing rooms, but it never really worked. As for texture, Im fairly sure that wasn't an issue. Headset and remotes were at full battery,

Hmm, it seems like everything is as it should be. We've found another article here that goes into some more detail about tracking. Sometimes, clearing your guardian data will help with tracking along with manually enabling our 6DoF tracking as it might have been accidentally toggled during hand tracking. Let us know if these help at all!

Im still experiencing the issue and I fear something maybe be broken with the headset hardware. I guess I'll continue to try and fix it but I may just need to get a new one.

Hey Mikes241, thanks for letting us know this issue is still persisting. Let's go ahead and try cleaning the outside cameras with a microfiber cloth, making sure they're clear of debris and dust that could obscure the lenses. Additionally, there are a few other things that could cause tracking to be inaccurate, so check for the following and make sure everything is good to go.
LED lights of any kind are bad for tracking. (LED strips, Christmas lights, etc.)
Sunlight = bad for tracking.
Some apps are reportedly causing tracking issues.
If none of the above is true for you, attempt to change the refresh rate in the settings.
Bright TVs or monitors can also cause the above LED issue, including standby lights.
Too little light can also be a problem.
Try to play away from reflective surfaces, such as mirrors or large off-TVs.
Try to play in a room with as even lighting as possible. A lamp off to one side or uneven lighting also appears to cause similar issues.
If you seem to still be having tracking issues after checking off the list above, please submit a support ticket with us so we can see what option are available
