Two Oculus, Two Kids, One Adult FB Account

Looking for advice! We have a Quest 1 and now a Quest 2, one headset for each of my two kids. We'd like to be able to have them play as different players in the same game. If I merge them both into my FB account, will it make it so they are the same user, so we can't play two in the same game? Also, if one kid makes progress in a game on one set, does the other headset update according to that progress? Ideally I'd like them completely independent, even if I have to buy the same apps again. However, I only have one FB account (single parent). We haven't tried to set up the Quest 2 yet because we're worried it might not work out right. What's the best way to proceed?
