USB C on mobo or GPU

I'm extremely close to running down to the local Best Buy to purchase a Quest 2 after work. Unfortunately I don't have a type C connection on my computer to be able to plug it in for other games I play with my Rift S. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I have a B450-I motherboard and an EVGA 980 TI FTW.

you don't need a type c on the computer. a usb 3.0 type a to type c cable is all you need.

Thank you for replying. If you don't mind me asking another question. Will the power draw cause the headset to die out over time since it isn't type C or will it stay charged?

It will still discharge but at a slower rate.

Type a vs type c won't make much of a difference.

where do I buy one of those cords for the VR that is type c on one side and the type B on the other? Since the B is the male part and A is the female. My computer only can connect to usb B cables. The ones I see are usb C on both sides of the cord.
