Ever since updating my quest to version 14, it fixed the headset tracking lost, but made the controllers completely unusable. Sometimes they would freeze in place for a few seconds and sometimes would fly off like they ran out of power, even though they are fully charged with rechargeable batteries. This all happens in an almost perfectly lit room. Oculus, please fix as soon as you can, Beat Saber is unplayable come this update.
Yes, it's very frustrating but I'm sure they will fix it - hopefully won't be too long before they do. I've been grinning and bearing it, but won't be long before I go back to Index for the games I've been playing with Quest due to the better blacks and dark scenes (like night time in No man's Sky which looks much better in Quest even with the added SDE).
I found that I am using my right controller almost without pause in that game, but more often than not my left arm is rested on my chair, doing nothing with the controller. It's this left controller that loses tracking after half a minute or so, with losses for the right controller being few and far between.
Same. It's the left controller that screws up the most. I've noticed if i don't restart my quest headset in general (since v12) before i run link I tend to just have issues... slow performance, guardian / tracking dropping, etc.
I'm sure it's the new drivers (meaning last couple of updates) because even my Rift CV1 has had tracking issues - especially the left controller again - for the first time since I got it in July 2016. It had been rock solid all that time.
Same for me. Beat Saber work for about 15-20 minutes, then I need to reboot the Quest. Do you have YUR calorie tracker installed on your Quest ? My Quest was juste updated to V14 when I saw the issue... I've updated YUR (was broken with V14 update), YUR is working again but the flying controllers are still there...
