Just got an Oculus Quest, my first VR headset, from a friend, and I really want to try out VRChat. Whenever I launch the game, everything goes smoothly up until the tutorial intro. It prompts me the "Begin" button to start the tutorial but as soon as I press it the game freezes completely. I can't look around anymore or do anything. I've looked up every fix I can think of, I have mic permissions enabled, I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, tried different login methods, none have worked. Might just do a factory reset if this keeps happening, but I'd prefer not to since I'm trying to share account apps with the friend who gave me it. I even went to his account and uninstalled the app there... nothing. All the online threads point to making changes in the Steam library... I'm running it through the oculus software so that isn't a thing I can do. any help is greatly appreciated.

Since you are sharing the account with another person, the account holder might need to grant you permissions to use the game properly.
If those permissions have been given and you are still experiencing issues, please come submit a support ticket so we can work on a solution to this together.

Apologies, I haven’t been able to find it. This issue can and does occasionally happen with other games, but none get completely softlocked like VRChat. I’ll ask their support team as well to see if I can get a solution. Thanks!
