What if Facebook account got blocked and that account is associated to Quest2?

Actually there is quite big VR community in mainland China and many of my friends have ordered the Quest 2 from Amazon.
They have concern about the Facebook account. Facebook somehow block account from mainland China for no reason, even for FB accounts that do not have any activity. If my friends registered FB account just to use Quest2, will they also be blocked? If they already bought games from Oculus Store, what will happen after their FB account got blocked?
Well if this problem cannot be solved I will have to suggest my friends not buying Oculus devices..since the device can become garbage randomly.

My friend just tried to register a Facebook account, then got blocked immediately after register. It is clear that he does not violate Facebook's rights or anything because he did not start using the account yet.

China has banned Facebook. So any citizens in China who are attempting to circumvent this ban will obviously run in to issues.

Now the problem is not only China government does not allow Chinese citizens using Facebook, but Facebook also does not allow Chinese citizens using Facebook..Why FB do the same thing as CCP

I would assume that since Facebook has manufacturing deals with China (such as Xiaomi making the Oculus Go) they must follow the Chinese government's policies to continue doing business there.

It appears Amazon Global is selling the Quest 2 in China. But it probably shouldn't, since that's not one of the 23 officially supported regions. That means if you need any assistance (repairs, replacement parts, etc) Oculus most likely won't help, they are very fussy about regions. Even having a shipping address in a supported region but paying with a credit card from an unsupported region can get orders cancelled.

Facebook doesn't want the Chinese Government suing Facebook for disobeying a ban order.

Slight correction to my post, Amazon Global in this case is Amazon Japan. They are the seller.
I've asked the support admin for clarification on this, I'll let you know if I hear anything.

If Amazon Japan is selling Quest 2s to China (a region Facebook doesn't sell headsets to and doesn't provide support for) and people in China can't make accounts to run it, the forum is going to have a LOT of annoyed people turning up.

I believe so too. I've already seen several people complaining about the same problem and I bet it's only going to get worse if they don't issue an official statement to warn people about it. It's so ironic that they are selling it to China when a Facebook Account is necessary. And I highly doubt that they'll give anyone a free pass. But on the other hand it'd be stupid to loose all those customers so I'm wondering how they are going to solve this porblem...

It's a sad issue, but can't do much about it I suppose
