Will 90 frames per second come back to quest 2 ???? 72fps SUCKS!

After last update, 90fps went away as an option. So now it only clocks at 72fps.

90 Hz is the default setting as of update 23. That’s why the option isn’t there anymore.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

How do we get through our days with such problems to deal with? Sometimes I blink during a game and I swear, I miss at least 18 frames. Oculus, pls provide a buffer so I can go back and replay those frames later.

It doesn't seem the same. Watching fast moving video's was clear (no blur frames) when first opened, now with the update it is back to blur frames that are frustrating to watch (you miss half the action) on video watching. After a half hearted roll out of Quest 2 (still waiting for the elite head harness 2months late) I don't trust what FaceBook says about the product anymore.

I haven’t noticed this at all, and unless you’re watching gameplay footage videos then it’s unlikely that this comparison even makes sense. Standard movies are 24 FPS and animated movies are usually the same, but occasionally up to 30 FPS. So depending on what videos you’re watching, it’s unlikely that 72 vs 90 would make any difference in the video department.

I am not talking standard Netflix stuff. Specifically it is "Cirque Du Soleil VR" and I get a lot of freezes when I use my Rift Library material. I am just wondering whether my set is funky or I am Expecting too much??
