Will Quest 2 tether to a laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor?

The laptop I have is new (about 3 months old), and just got Quest 2 for my son. He wants to tether to the laptop to play Roblox VR, but I cannot connect. I am using the USB-C power cable (USB-C - USB-C). I have not yet purchased an Oculus Link cable. Is that the problem? Or is it the processor?

The biggest requirement is the graphics card. The laptop must have a reasonably good Nvidia or AMD graphics card, if it only has integrated Intel graphics then its not possible to use it for VR with the Quest 2.

There's a list of requirements here: https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/

You need at least an i5, there is no way to get the oculus app to run on the laptop.  You might be able to do virtual desktop and steam vr, but I don't recommend it.
