desktop not being able to select apps

I can open up my desktop in oculus pc but I can't select anything on it, steam VR is also not seeing my quest 2.

Did you solve this? Same here.. can see the PCs desktop but cannot click on anything with the oculus controllers...

I literally can't find a solution for it, I'm surprised no one has made a video or even covered this problem

I fixed it. Not ideally but fixed it. I had to make my daughters PC account administrator. Then reboot the computer and (most importantly) reboot the Oculus. It now works. Not ideal but hopefully a future patch will allow me to set them back to standard PC users so I don’t have to worry about them terrorizing the computer.
