My pc was compatible with the quest 2 and after a recent update its no longer compatible. how does that happen.

My pc runs a AMD Radeon RX5700 XT and a AMD Ryzen 3700x 8-Core Processor, 16gb Ram. how its this not compatible with it. it worked before. when i link the cable to my pc the home app keeps resetting and I cant link it. not even with airlink, sometimes when i launch the app, it says cant reach oculus service, please try restarting your computer, if that doesn't work, try repairing your oculus app. i have done this so many times and still the same result. i even factory rested my pc and oculus quest 2 and still doing this.

First, AMD ....

Second both the 21.6.1 driver and 21.6.2 drivers have the same issue, so only way to resolve this now is to downgrade to previous 21.5.2 or earlier... The oculus support team should put that in their FAQ, would have saved me so much time.

i downgraded to the 20.10.35 verson and it works just fine. i uninstalled my amd soft ware and then reintalled a older version to the Radeon™ Pro Software for Enterprise. here is a link on where i got it. the icon is now blue instead of red. AMD Radeon™ RX 5700 XT Drivers & Support | AMD

Enabling the public test channel updates Oculus to a version that works with the new 6.1 and 6.2 AMD drivers.
