I sometimes have problems with link when a new update is available for the oculus client and the quest 2 is stuck with the old version. Check which version your desktop application has.
Maybe it's version 32 and your quest has version 31. Then all you can do is either wait or force update.
I have 31 versions both on my helmet and on my computer, if somehow it is possible to forcibly update, then I don’t know how because I have the latest version installed both on my computer and on my helmet
