stuck downloading update 2 of 2

I am a teacher who received four Oculus Quest devices last year through a grant. I am trying to use them again for the first time today and am having all kinds of problems.  First, I had to reset to factory to get any of them to connect to our wi-fi network with internet.  Now, the remaining two are stuck.  They got through the intiial update, but have been sitting there on the Downloading Update 2 of 2 at 0% for over an hour.  I have tried the factory reset multiple times and it keeps getting stuck at the same spot. I have verified that they are on the same wifi as my phone.  Any ideas?

Did this ever get resolved for you?

I'm having the same issue and this is the only post I've seen so far which describes it.

If I restart the headset, it'll bypass it and seemingly work as normal, but I'm unable to download any apps as it just shows a loading circle where the install button should be.

Edit:

It finished the update on its own now but I still have the issue where I can't download apps.

Edit 2:

Looking around, this was an issue in around July this year and got resolved automatically by itself after a day or so, the same thing happened here; Just tried again the next morning and everything is working fine now.

Not happy I couldn't play last night as I planned but happy there's not a fault with my headset.

For anyone else with this issue: sorry, Meta says "not today", try again tomorrow!

Hello! We understand how waiting for updates are taking away from the time you could be using them for education (which we love, by the way). We have a couple questions for you. Are you connected to a school or work wi-fi? Are you using a hotspot? We do recommend that the devices are connected to a high speed (5 GHz), especially for important and big installments like software updates!
