Screwdriver for the headphones.

It's not a pencil but a tool to help you unscrew or fasten the screws for the headphones in the strap. Sometimes over extended use they might get a bit loose. Or if you want to use your own headphones instead you might want to remove them to be able to put you own ones on more comfortable. Since the screws are plastic its best to use this tool instead of a "real" metal screwdriver which might scratch the screws.

There are also instructions in the box for what that does.  At least mine came with a little sheet saying what it is for....not sure if they still do it or not.

Mine came with an instruction booklet with tiny print that would require a magnifying glass to read because the 100+ page booklet written in several different languages is the same form factor as a postit note.  It's probably in that booklet somewhere.

Even if you can't read the instructions I don't think it's that big of a leap from "Weird, a little plastic screwdriver."  to "Oh, it must be for these big plastic screws in the headset." 🙂

Ha, I didn't even realize it was there until someone mentioned something about the earphones on the forums, then I went back to the box, found it and took one of the ear phones off.  First thought was "Freaking Awesome!"
