Waiting to receive my rift s and I'm using a laptop, that is VR ready and able to run. My only issue is that my mini displayport and USB3 are on opposite sides and I'm wondering if the cord will have enough play to fit or if I should look into getting some sort of extension in order to reach? Any help is appreciated.

i believe the rift s cable is 15 feet. for me i am 7 feet away and the cable isn't under even a little bit of tension

the Rift s cable splits into the USB and DP parts and they are each about 40 cm long.
