I've not used my Rift S for a good few weeks, with Xmas coming up bought some new VR games as wanted to get back into VR. There was a software update from Oculus, so I updated. Then there were firmware updates, so I updated. No issues.
I rebooted and then I had to go through the Oculus setup as though a new user, when it got to the Guardian setup the floor height is around 5 feet above the actual floor. The overlay screen to select continue or reset is half under the grid and over, I cannot get the floor grid to lower to the actual floor. The sensors do not seem to be working correctly as they are under the floor and I cannot lower the floor height. I can't find a way to force the floor to be 5 foot less.
Hey ManMountainUK, to confirm resetting the sensor tracking and/or guardian as noted here doesn't result in any changes? If that is the case, see if re-running the setup to repair or reinstall fixes the issue. If it does persist beyond that, create a ticket here. - Principe

before my Oculus died completely, there were the same problems, at first the sensors failed, the height did not adjust, then, after 10 minutes, the image turned off and didn’t turn on anymore. Something with new firmware.
