So I have my rift hooked up through my gaming laptop and picture is coming through the rift itself but the oculus app is not detecting that the rift hdmi is working does anyone know what to do
Might be that it's trying to use your intel integrated gpu instead of your dedicated nvidia gpu. Go to the nvidia control panel 3D settings and at the top select to use your high performance gpu. After this restart your pc and try again. This is with a Rift cv1 right? The Rift S needs displayport.
