Help with DP/Mini

So, I bought an Oculus Rift S, but realized that I don't have a displayport on my computer at the last second, including mini. Think there's some kind of work around or am I just shit out of luck?

Sorry, but unless your PC has a TB3 port that is connected through your dedicated gpu (not your integrated gpu like most seem to be), then you are out of luck.  In that case you may be able to use a TB3/DP adapter, but no guaranties tha this will work.

Maybe return your Rift S and get a Quest 2 with Link cable.  Just do a little more research to see if your gpu is Link-supported beforehand.

DP is required, I believe that Oculus have said that no known adapters will work. It's either DP, or mini with the Oculus adapter.

Since the Rift S will soon be discontinued, you might be better off going for the Quest 2 anyway.

Dear Oculus, If it ain't broke, don't fix it, please.

Usb c 3.2 to display port adapter.  It has enough bandwidth to drive the rift s.

I'm not saying that the adapter PITTCANNA mentioned won't work, but thought I'd post what the Oculus Support page says.
You may need to return either the headset or the adapter.
