I have no idea what it's called, but the major part of the headset itself, the area where you hold them when you want to wear them. It's where the IPD adjust and Mic are located. I notice that the surface has some sort of stain or fungus on it. Official oculus instruction says only use damp cloth. But it doesnt work, the fungus is still there and im considering using isopropyl alcohol (the one that's used for cleaning thermal paste off processor) to clean it. I want to take a pic of it but the camera is not good enough to capture it. is it safe though?
