How much RAM in the 1050? If not the 6GB version you may not even be able to run a Rift...The 1050 is minimum spec, so even if you have enough GPU RAM you may not be impressed with performance.

I have the 8GB version, I wanted to run the Rift S but if I can't, it's fine I will likely just get an Oculus Quest.

The 1050 Ti is actually minimum spec, not the 1050.
If I was going to experiment with Rift S, I'd at least put in a 1060.

You might be confusing your system ram with your GPU memory, I don't think an 8 GB version of the 1050 ever existed. I'm sure it only comes in 2GB or 3GB.

I thought it was 3/6 GB, but am happy to be corrected.
