So I just got my rift s not that long ago like a few hours ago and i downloaded the setup and i pulled everything in and once I went the sensor part of the setup and it won't go through I unplugged it and replugged it in like 20+ times, I mostly did everything what to do what some people said on some forms, and then uninstalled the drivers off of the rift s and then reinstalled the setup again and now I am stuck on the part were it's trying to find the usb 3.0 and display port

Does that motherboard have Intel onboard graphics ? If yes then disable.
A PC with lots of gadgets inside and a thing to see in 3D that you put on your head.

The option to disable onboard graphics will be in the bios mate. Google your motherboard for its manual and check that way. Your 1060 is only the 3gb version but should work. Does it have a displayport option ? Plus I think the 600 watt psu may be a little weak also, should work ok but with the rift and anything else you plug in it will be near the higher limit.

Do you have any odd letters in your windows/microsoft username? Accents like "è" or other uncommon letters like åæø? If so try to make a new local window user with admin rights and run the software from that user.
