Original Article (July 16th, 3:45 PM ET): Regularly costing $400, the Oculus Rift + Touch bundle is on sale for $50 off for the duration of Prime Day, which lasts until July 17th at 11:59 PM PT (local time here).

Amazon UK and major Eurozone regional branches such as Amazon France and Amazon Germany are seeing the sale too, knocking the headset down by £50/€50 to the Prime Day sale price of £350/€400.
The sale began on the 16th and will run until the end of day today (the 17th). Prime Day is typically a 36 Hour event that begins July 16th. So if you're looking to buy, hurry! If you know someone that was waiting for a price drop, then spread the word. Cheers!
The escalating drop in price of rift ( and other HMD´s ) plus ( finally ) the decline in GPU prices is a little late, but it promises for a good climb in sales for the last quarters of this year.
Looking at danish forums there is a ton of people who have been looking to upgrade graphiccards and / or their whole system, and are curious about getting an hmd. ( Bet its the same for foreign forums as well ).
SSD prices are coming down as well ( at least for the next few months).
RAM prices are somewhat dropping as well.
The new Nvidia cards are out soon, so even more cheap "last generation" cards are just around the corner for all the people out there who was smart enoguh to wait for decent pricing.

Getting a premium system and a highend hmd is becoming very affordable in the coming months.
Looking forward for upcoming steam surveys.
This year might end up being really good for pcvr afterall, be my prediction.
