As the title says. In desktop apps notifications, 2 hours a go there's 1.41 update loaded to Rift, while 1.42 has been in already 7 days? What the hell is happening?

I also checked the version in the app, it really is reverted to 1.41.

I'm looking into this. @Netheri and @cercata can you check if you are opted into the public test channel or not? That option can be found under Settings > Beta within the Oculus desktop software.
@ShowbizDonkey Hell no for the PTC, the full version itself it so buggy always that i really don't want to beta test anything more. Omega testing is enough for me, thanks
EDIT: also, the problem is wider than just me and cercata.
EDIT: Would it be at least funny to necro "1.41 rolling out now" to the top of the threads?

@Netheri clarifying question: were you opted into the PTC previously or have you always been opted out? I'm just trying to understand the exact steps you experienced.
Assuming you were never on the PTC, it sounds like you received the 1.42 update and then received another update that put you back on 1.41, all while never changing the PTC option. Do I have that right?
@ShowbizDonkey if i remember corretcly i've _never_ opted for PTC because of the reason i told in the earlier answer. Anything beta related i've used only restart system, as the Home lags in _every_ time it's started and the restarting fixes it at least for the time the game is stopped and Home is loaded again. When it lags again. Pls tell this too to the team as i know this issue bugs many more than just me. 😉
