Problem with connecting to USB 3.0 port

Hello.

There
are problems connecting the Oculus Rift S helmet to the same computer. When
connecting to the USB 3.0 port, the program writes that the helmet is connected
to an incompatible port.

The
computer configuration is as follows:

Asus
ROG Rampage IV Extreme motherboard .

RAM
16 GB.

GPU
NVIDIA GTX 1070.

CPU
Intel Core i74930k.

Tried
to buy a separate Board with USB 3.0 and additional power PCI-E Orico
PVU3-2O2I. This also did not help solve the problem.

Everything works fine on the second computer . So the problem is not with the helmet

If this is the board then you should be fine https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_IV_EXTREME/
Are you sure your plugging it in the USB3, and have you tried different ports, your mainboard has many to choose from.

The Startech 4 port Express USB 3.0 card with dedicated 5Gbps Channels and USP-SATA/LP4 Power is the best card to use imho.  I have this and I can connect any usb3.0 devices to it no problem, esp, when I power it from my PC power supply.
i9 13900K water cooled, RTX4090, Z790 MB w/wifi6e, 32Gb 6400 ram, 2x2TB SSD, 1000W PSU, Win 11, QPro, Q3, w/Link and Air Link, Vive Pro1 with Etsy lens mod and Index Controllers

Historically Oculus with ASMedia ports have been somewhat iffy.
Also it is best if you can connect the Oculus USB 3 to a port that is not sharing it's hub with other devices.
Rift can be greedy on the USB 3 power.
One reason the USB 3 add in cards have done well, especially with their own power.
