Rift S and games issues (Asgard's Wrath: IT'S JUST WOW)

I want first to start saying that I'm one of a happy owners of a Rift S because I have ZERO issues on hardware until now, may be because it is new (couple of weeks), so under this aspect to me good job developers (no USB issues, no Display Port issues, no Controller flickering and so on).
The contrary is on the software, I had A LOT of issues, like games not starting (black screen),  error codes like 0.000007b, if I start the game from the Oculus itself the game crashes but if I start it from Windows 10 it works perfectly, the game freezes and can't continue, I need to stop SteamVR manually from the multitasking panel every time I start a Steam game, otherwise I can't run another game saying that it is not suggested to run 2 games at the same time on Oculus and so on (it took me couple of days to set up everything. To me this is not correct, it is supposed to work everything in a "normal" way, not to get rid of several software bugs, 70% of the games have those kind of issues, also probably to talk also with Steam developers about that, I don't say I want the perfection, perfection does not exist, but not even like this).
Next is:
- I played Asgard's Wrath, I congratulate the developers, the game is JUST WOW, seriously, not even Half Life Alyx is near to the graphic details put in this game, I don't understand why users commonly say that Alyx is the best game on VR today, personally it is Asgard's Wrath by FAR to me (imagine that the SDE it is almost invisible, very low flickering, almost ZERO overlapping, the blur is still present but less accentuated. I understand now why the game is 130GB size)
After that said, so it is possible to create great games with nice graphics and not what I have seen until now, the worst thing is that  they are very heavy (my GPU was about 80C°/176F° constantly, and nearly 90% usage of VRAM, I own a 2080 Super not OC).
Last but not least:
- did you have ever think developers, to put some kind of airflow inside the Headset? Because you sweat like a PIG, REALLY, I stopped playing several time because I had to clean myself on a SIT GAME, I was not even moving.
As I said in some other previous posts, the immersion is really great, for example watching a video about Asgard's Wrath Trailer or even a Walkthrough, does not honour and give justice to the work of the developers on the video-game (have you ever thought about creating a recording implementation to HOW does really it is inside the Headset?).
But the Immersion is not all:
- software
- sweat
- graphics
- optimisation
Need still A LOT of progress to me...
P.S. This is a constructive feedback, nothing else, I repeat I'm a happy owner 😉
Play Asgard's Wrath guys, see by yourself, it is just 😮

Hello, I have a problem with the
Asgard'S Wrath game. After the intro battle with the octopus there is a
fatal error when the following level is loaded. I get the following
error:

LowLevelFatalError [File:E:\WW3\SVN5\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 182]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

I can't play the game that the error keeps occurring. Can anyone help me?

My system:
Board msi b450m pro-m2 max
AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
AMD Readeon RX 5700 8 GB with the latest AMD driver 20.8.1
Windows 10 64 Bit
16 GB 3600 MHz

What I can say is that I start the game itself from Windows not from Oculus, to me everything works fine.
It is one of those games that if I start it from Oculus it crashes...
Don't ask me why, but it's like this, I already wrote several threads about that (and in this one also), the Immersion is great, the problem is that all the rest does not follow..., and not everyone is able to find the WAY to start a game correctly (it took me like a week to solve most of all software problems, some I haven't solved yet).
Try starting the game from Windows and in case, close SteamVR service if it's started (if you played some other game before)

Hello,

thanks for the information.
The game itself starts. Unfortunately, the suggestion you mentioned does not work. The game still crashes with the same error when loading the first level after the intro battle.
