Why is it updating from v1.27 to v1.26?

I have been on 1.27 ever since it got released and now I see the Oculus is downloading an update and it says it's version 1. 26. Why is it going backwards?

That's odd. Can you share your LogGatherer log file? See this thread for how to get the file.

i second that. I was at 1.27 since update, then today it went back to 1.26

I'd recommend submitting a bug report. You can do that in the Help Center (lower left of Oculus app) by clicking Provide Feedback. Thanks.

So how am I supposed to get back to v1.27. Please don't tell me I have to uninstall Oculus software and reinstall it since I'm on satellite it's going to take me forever

Yup mines is doing this as well.  WTF Oculus?!?!?!  It seems that these so called "improvements" are getting worse and worse.....

Same here, it “updated” back to 1.26. The game I was playing before the update would no longer run afterward, required a re-install of the game. Might not be related at all but suddenly I’m noticing that screens that were inky black are now very grain like.

Well, I woke up this morning and turned the computer on and opened up Oculus and what is it doing? Now it's going back to v1.27...
