Yes, you can get a 30 day free trial here.  https://www.revouninstaller.com/download-professional-version.php

Oculus hasn't changed their ways since their inception.  They would rather spend money handing out merch to shills and employing part-time ad people to derail any public threads complaining about issues that actually investing in optimizing their code and providing real support.  They are all about public perception and don't give a damn about you once they have your money.

No sorry.  All I do is like I said above.  Remove all files and reg keys (including manually deleting the ones I posted above--revo doesn't get those), unplug the cables, reboot and reinstall.

And even at that, sometimes I have to repeat the process 3 or 4 times before I get it to work.

Just for an example, I had it working when I was chatting online with support, rebooted and broke it.  I have been fighting with it since then (about 1.5 hours) to try and get it working again.

EDIT:  Finally got it functional again just now.

Well I never uninstalled any drivers, just did what I listed above a bunch of times before it finally decided to work magically.  Wish I had more insight, sorry. 😞
