The Filters work independently in home and desktop app. Make sure you select the same filters for both.

The Filters are set the same. On both "Unknown Sources" is ticked only. That's not the problem.

Well, maybe contact Oculus support. This does not happen to me with my Oculus Rift cv1 w/2x sensors and 1.39.1 btw.

Do you have No Mans Sky too? Can you make a screenshot how it looks for you?
I contacted support, but as NMS is a 3rd party game, they don't offer troubleshooting... I should post here or on the steam forums of No Mans Sky. Both I did meanwhile. Nothing fruitful yet though. Just reinstalled NMS too. Even in a different install location of NMS, the Oculus App seems to remember this bug...
Worth noting that this only happens for NMS for me. Of all other steam games I have the thumbnail renders properly in both the VR and the desktop library.
