I've installed the TM150 Pro wheel as instructed and it works perfect for the Thrustmaster Control app. In the settings on the game Assetto Corsa through steam, the game sees the wheel, but I can't use it with my Rift on because I can't add the device in the Oculus app. Latest firmware, yes. Updated drivers, yes. Switched to PS3 as instructed, yes. My only clue... In Windows 10 Device Manager, the drivers are not showing under "Sound, video and game controllers," but do show under Human Interface. Any ideas on how to get Oculus app to add the device? Thanks!
The Oculus app isn't supposed to see wheels or joysticks. The only non oculus devices it recognises are xbox controllers, and that's not for games, just controlling the desktop app in vr if you don't have the touch controllers.
It's entirely up to the game to support wheels. If Assetto Corsa is seeing the wheel, that should be enough to use it with the Rift. Have you tested if the wheel works without VR? Not just seen in the settings, but actually working when driving? I've got a Logitech G27 wheel, and the drivers can be a real pain to get working.
