With Rift-S I can't seem to get a immersive VR experience for web sites using webxr or even YouTubeVR. The Steam version is just a flat screen in VR. I did get some old firefox addon to work.. but there was no sound. Does anyone know how I can get an immersive experience with the rift s?
I have the same problem. The problem is with youtube because if I try another website with VR movies it works perfectly I tried also on a different computer and same problem. Only youtube wich gives problems. Tried different VR players/browsers wich should be able to play VR on YouTube but still does not work and it seems like there are no solutions on google. The only 'solution' I have right now is download the movie from YouTube in the highest quality save it to disk and then play it with Mermaid VR player (it is a free player in the oculus store). You can choose how you want to play the file once its open.. 2D, 180°, 360° or cinemaview. Not really a solution but thats the only way I have been able to play them in VR
