Can't install any games, get error message that my antivirus is blocking.

Hello,

As the title suggests i can't install any games and i get an error message that states it's because my antivirus is blocking the install. Well that can't be correct because i don't have a antivirus on my computer. I have Googled for hours now and have tried to reinstall the Oculus software with no success .

I was hopping i could get some help here.

If you don't have a 3rd party AV installed then it could be windows defender. It could be blocking the install. 
  1. Open Windows Defender Security Center.
  2. Click on Virus & threat protection.
  3. Click the Virus & threat protection settings option.
  4. Turn off the Real-time protection toggle switch.
Click the start menu and start typing windows and select windows defender security center.
Don't forget to turn it back on when you are done.

i have this problem and i even messed around with excluding the entire oculus folder and it still wont install

I have this problem form time to time after I install a bunch of apps through oculus.   A reboot usually fixes it.
