If its the 1050 model then no, thats very low end and would struggle. You would need a 1060 minimum. At that price I'd build your own pc. Get an I7 and a gtx 1070 card 😉

I play on this and have had a lot of success. Just keep an eye out for a sale [I just bought it 2 weeks ago for $1350 after tax @ Best Buy].
If you like the ROG laptops at least... Alienwares were just on sale, but were still more expensive and only came with the 1060, while the one I linked has a 1070
