I recently got an email from security@facebookmail.com which comes up as Meta Ads support number on google , and I’m very confused about whether or not they are legitimate emails from Facebook (Meta) . i also tried searching online on google and other channels , but couldn’t find anything concrete answer. I even saw security@facebookmail.com listed on Facebook’s official page, but I still have doubts.

Even with this confirmation, please be diligent and double check that the address is always spelt correctly, as scammers sometimes use addresses with similar spellings to impersonate Meta support.

The email looked official, but I’m concerned it might be a scam. To make things even more confusing, I also got a phone call, which sounded official and claimed to be from Facebook UK.

I really happy to know security@facebookmail.com is legit email & from Facebook but this contact number is Facebook support? if yes then how do they know what issues i am facing . this Meta support number & noreply@facebookmail.com . called me from thin air can asked my problem while i was chatting on meta business suite & was asking is security@facebookmail.com is safe? that's wen i got the call form this Facebook UK office. if you think this is not right they please provide me real Facebook support number . i will be very thankful of u. thanks
As of a while back, Facebook removed their public contact numbers so while I can't tell you it is real, I couldn't say with 100% confidence that it isn't real either. Since their phone numbers are no longer accessible anywhere, I couldn't provide any confirmation or any contact details for you.
