Learning VR development (i.e. Unity programming) without an HMD

Hi all,

Do you know if it is at all possible to start learning Unity3D programming for VR without actually having an Oculus Rift?

I cannot afford to buy one for myself personally, but would like to practice Unity development for VR so that I could apply for such jobs.

Is that possible? Do you know of any series of tutorials that could be followed for VR programming without actually having an HMD?

Thank you,

What?
Games are already compatible to VR all you would have to do is congifg controls to touch and a few tweaks here and there. So just study the engine you like and save up a little each week and buy the rift.

Holo lens has an emulator that looks cool but thats AR.
