So I am looking at the google plastic or cardboard virtual reality stuff I thought it was pretty neat to have an Oculus Rift before it was released. I turned my way to google and there they are they remind me of a makeshift oculus rift I wanted to improve this though using desktop routing apps also known as desktop sharing apps. Has anyone here used google plastic vr kit or the cardboard version? When I look at the plastic it EXACTLY reminds me of the first Development Kit for the Oculus Rift its self. I think this is actually a COOL idea but be warned google is ripping off your money all it is is cardboard and this stuff you can make on your own popping out a pair of reading glasses lens or magnifying lens it's a lot harder to make but an easy route to have an oculus rift.
I am probably gonna use this on the Sam Sung Galaxy III or the iphone 5c and try among the sleep with this it seems like a pretty cool idea if you ask me. So yeah have you guys already tried the google vr plastic kit XD
Sorry if it seems like spam I just wanted people to see which one reminded me of the Oculus Rift BE CAREFUL there are some of these that are ripping off your money cardboard is free magnifying glasses aren't expensive and all you need is glue and headstraps my advice for an Oculus is what I said up above using desktop sharing apps for your phone.
