Meta Verification Under 18?

Hey. I’m an entrepreneur and looking to get Meta Verified to build trust and credibility for my company. Only issue is I am under 18. Has anyone under 18 managed to achieve this, or found a way to verify their account to help build professional credibility? I’d love any insights or advice on how to navigate this! Really hoping to get verified across Instagram and Facebook to further build trust.

I understand that you want to gain credibility for your company, however to be eligible for Meta Verified for Instagram and or Facebook, you must be 18 years old or over. 

Please see the following Terms and Conditions for Eligibility for being Meta Verified.

• Purchasing a Meta Verified Standard subscription on Facebook will not transfer over to your Instagram account. Purchasing a Meta Verified Standard subscription on Instagram will not transfer over to your Facebook account. You can subscribe two (2) profiles (one Instagram and one Facebook) to Meta Verified Standard. You must be 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your region) to purchase Meta Verified Standard. You must have an individual account to apply for Meta Verified Standard; business accounts are not eligible for Meta Verified Standard at this time. Meta Verified Standard Benefits are for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Instagram account eligibility. Your Instagram profile must meet these minimum eligibility requirements:

• Be a public or private account aligned with naming standards and have a profile picture that includes your face or is aligned with certain photo standards
• Have two-factor authentication enabled, which may be completed after payment
• Meet minimum account activity requirements, such as prior posting history
• Have a government-issued ID
• Comply with Instagram Terms of Use and Community Guidelines

Facebook account eligibility. Your Facebook profile must meet these minimum eligibility requirements:

• Be a public or private profile that is associated with your full name, that aligns with our naming standards
• Have a valid photo ID with a name and photo that matches the name and photo on your profile
• Meet minimum account activity requirements, such as prior posting history
• Have two-factor authentication enabled
• Comply with Facebook Terms of Service and Community Standards
