Any way we can get dedicated Reset View/Oculus button to work on PC instantly like it does on Quest?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share an observation, as I've been working on Rift + Quest since 2016. I LOVE the way the reset view button works on Quest standalone apps. It's a dedicated button that, when you hold it for 3 seconds, after a twirly thing pops up and goes away, your local tracking space is reset to 0,0,0 and default orientation is now the direction your HMD is facing in real life. Perfect. Couldn't be any better. But, when doing the same exact think over Link / AirLink, it brings up a popup menu which a) takes you out of the action and ruins immersion for nothing, and b) is completely superfluous as all you want to do is click Reset View. Quest proved people are used to doing it the easy / fast way, so why not apply some consistency in how the Oculus button works over Link? SteamVR does it the same way and it's SO frustrating, because otherwise we could use it for any game, and depend on it. Instead, we're forced to jump through hoops to press one button just to click a menu to press another. This whole step doesn't need to exist on PC, at all. And Meta's not alone in making this work poorly (in my opinion). SteamVR doing this is one of the biggest things I hate about using it.

Please consider it! Or give us a way to bypass that menu button through some ADB command. I often have to test resetting the view in my PC VR dev to make sure the in-game poses are also reset or adjusted accordingly, and this superfluous menu gets in the way. Really frustrating to fix such issues on PC, so I often switch back to coding it on Quest for convenience. PC / Quest should ideally work as similarly as possible IMO.

Remember how many years it took to get the dreaded health and safety warning to go away on Rift? I doubt anyone's listening or reading to these posts (or cares). They're going through rounds of layoffs and the folks who are left behind are focusing 100% on standalone + Unity stuff. Anything PC related is unlikely to ever get done, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if Quest 3 removed Link feature entirely. They seem to actively want PC VR gaming to die completely.
