Development Halted - Touch Controllers Now Require Two Sensors

Much to my dismay today I booted up Oculus to do touch development and am now unable to do it because the touch controllers requires two Sensors. We only have one set of touch controllers and they have to travel between development machines. Which use to mean we just had to re-pair the sensors. Now we have to go through a full setup and tear down ever single time which is time consuming. Additionally today I did not bring the second sensor because we did not need it in the past.

Can you please bring back Quick Pair like you have for the remote. This would save us valuable development time In addition Allow a Development mode that only requires one sensor.

Yes, I noticed this as well. I can share the feedback with the team, but if it does get fixed it may take some time. I heard that we were supposed to get some extra sensors to send developers, though I'm not sure when those will be available. You can try reaching out to your Oculus developer relations contact. You can also order sensors from our website, but they don't ship until December. Hope that helps.

Another thing that they might be able to do (I don't know this for sure) is to send you another sensor via the Hardware request.  I would try filling that out as it can't hurt.
The link to the form is: https://developer.oculus.com/hardware-request/

Thanks everyone we just went out and bought another oculus to steal it's sensor. It is still really frustrating we will need to double up the sensors on all of our devs.

@cybereality Thank you for leting them know. I do hope they will be able to fix it soon. having a Developer section would be great in Oculus App. The setup is a bit lengthily now
