Oculus Debug Tool can't connect to service / HMD

When I try to run the Oculus Debug Tool, I just get an error message that says:
Unable to connect to service, or an HMD isn't connected.

What am I doing wrong?  An HMD (CV1) is connected, and Home is running.

Same issue here. I reinstalled. I'm loosing picture quality because I couldn't use supersampling. Please fix!

I'm getting an error loading the "OculusDebugToolCLI" tool.
ERROR: Unable to start debug session, retrying...

The Oculus tray tool was working fine until I set it to load Oculus home on startup and close tool on Oculus home shutdown.

I don't have any options, "show Application" isn't opening so I can't untick "load on Windows startup"

So I basically can't uninstall the Oculus tray tool it seems.

Tried setting the "config file" to the settings of the "config_template" and no joy...

Was loving this tool up until this point. So many great features!

Yay just fixed my error. Just read at the end of the "UserGuide.pdf"

Clearing all settings to default
If you are having issues with something acting weird, you can try and reset a few settings to default. This is done by first closing Oculus Tray Tool and then deleting the following folder.
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\ApollyonVR
This will reset the following.
 Window positions
 Windows sizes
 Custom phrases for Voice commands
 Selected Voice engine
 Selected callback voice
 Saved CPU ID

Then set the config template to defaults and turned off "start Oculus home on tool startup".

Seems to work fine now.

The Oculus Debug Tool moved from the SDK to the runtime. The new location is Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe.
