Bootcamp w/iMac Retina 5k, OVRServer crashing

Have a brand new iMac Retina 5k (i7 4790K, Radeon R9 M295X 4GB, 16GB ram, SSD) and I have installed Win7 Ultimate on bootcamp.

My problem: OVRServer_x64.exe crashes constantly so I'm not able to do anything (install firmware etc). Anyone have any experiences? I tried looking at another couple of topics but no luck.

I am aware that Oculus Runtime is available for OSX but I have a Windows partition set aside strictly for gaming.

No solutions yet on my end.

Pity ... Also (since we have similar machines) ... did you get SteamVR working (if you tried it) on the mac side or does the VR Server crash as well for you?

I am really hoping a driver update fixes the bootcamp issue soon (a big reason why I got this machine was to bootcamp it to use it with my rift) 😕

Can you try reverting to an older AMD Catalyst driver? Version 14.4 should be OK.

I uninstalled the driver and tried to install both 14.4 and 14.9 ... both would not install on my new iMac (I have the AMD Radeon R9 M295X) ... The only driver that would reinstall on my system was the one that was a part of the bootcamp install (thankfully it was easy to locate so my system isn't completely hosed)

After 2 hours of failed drivers ... I am right back where I started

Any updates on this (from Oculus) ?
Edit: I see AMD released a new Bootcamp driver (14.301) the day after I posted this thread. Downloading now: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/bootcamp Fingers crossed.

Nope. Still crashing with latest bootcamp drivers from AMD:

Old (what my 5K imac had after updating OSX receiving it December 15th):
