Can anyone bring back World in Conflict for VR?

To anyone who knows that game, that would be insane in VR.  The multiplayer would be great.

Why let great concepts die.  There is no game like it.

What do you mean?  If anyone from Oculus plays that game who is a multiplayer RTS fan, they will bring it back.

The world has never been so close to a new global conflict, and it will be in Real Reality, a far more impressive and immersive experience than with VR 😞

Have you even played World in Conflict?

In fact, yes, a little bit ! I tried to joke over the recent news between, france and belgium terrorism attacks, refugees crisis, north korea nuclear threats and of course republican Trump rise ! But it did not work, sorry.

It would be insane in VR.  It was kind of a rare game and unpopular.  It was popular to the people who were playing it.  Starcraft 2 and Company of Heroes was good in 3D Vision.  The concept of Company of Heroes changed too much.  The game is too hard.  I hope they make Dota 2 into VR.  A lot of games have really good concepts but they are unknown.  I play a lot of games and there are no games like the games I used to play.  Test Drive Unlimited changed to Forza Horizons and The Crew so that concept didn't die out.  People calling in support items in World in Conflict was great and strategic.  Fuel air bombs, nukes, infantry, snipers, B52s, no game like it.

There were times when I thought everyone knew what I knew but when I started asking questions to people I realized how wrong I was.

The crew is literally made by the TDU team, i know, i was at eden games when they left to make ivory tower 🙂 i worked on alone and tdu2 (as graphic + tech prog, seeing everything a head managemeot can do wrong to send projects into the wall )

Well TDU 2 was pretty bad compared to TDU 1.

Now if you can see the same concept of migration of World in Conflict then the results could be the same as Forza but not as big because not everyone wants to RTS but race even if they go off the track and wreck other people being totally novice.

It was bad in regards to the concept, and because of a few ones that take very bad decisions that the whole team could sadly not do anything about it. We know the end, the studio closed (i was already gone working on Dishonored at the time)

But the tech was not that bad at all. And, I love stereo rendering so i did the version myself. The way i wrote the renderer made it easy and fast enough to replay parts of our abstract command buffer for a second eye with minor cpu cost. I got a first "working" version in a lunch time. Then i fixed all the bugs, tweaked things, something the 3dvision driver could not handle properly anyway and use nvapi to provide the two eyes directly. Making it as fast as possible, On PC, i was running at 60 at 1080p in 3D at the time 🙂 There was hidden launch params to turn on side by side and anaglyph mode too 🙂 i even had a ps3 version running, but i don't think it was ever released.

You should have seen the eye-infinity anaglyph plus track ir version 🙂
