Is there an ETA yet for Direct Mode on MacOS?

Can anyone with a DK2 confirm if it supports Direct Mode (or equivalent) under MacOS?

DK1 still doesn't seem to support it, with legacy mode being the only option?

I just tried upgrading to oculus_runtime_sdk_0.5.0.1_osx.dmg - which itself is disappointing, it contains an .app which attempts to install files directly into some places that would be better managed by a .pkg installer

I feel pretty burnt after purchasing the DK1 and then it ending up not really being supported hardware, there's no way I'd buy a DK2 after my DK1 experience.

If the Vive has MacOS support, you guys are going to be throwing a whole market segment over to Valve. I was hoping to be finishing up Mac and IOS VR Apps with the Rift by now, but it seems a risky investment until consumer hardware ships and we see how Mac and Linux fare vs. Windows.
