I have a beta GearVR app I'm working on that has both IAPs and leaderboards. They both work great, but I'd like to have them enabled for all beta testers without having to add their Oculus ID as a tester. I understand that it's unlikely I would be able to do that with the IAPs, and I wouldn't want to charge people for things in a beta that is going to change a lot, but is there a way to do that with the leaderboards? It's an open beta on SideloadVR (and just added recently to ConstructVR), so I'd prefer not to have to ask all the testers for their ID one at a time, and I also don't have their contact info. I suppose I could add code to send me their ID from the app and add them individually, but that seems like a messy solution.
For any platform features to work the tester needs to have an Oculus entitlement for the app on their account so unfortunately just sideloading an APK isn't going to work. We don't currently have an elegant solution for doing wide scale public betas with Platform features.
