I remember seeing an option in the "Meta Quest Developer Hub" to disable boundary reset. Obviously not a proper solution, but might be worth trying it out.
Apart from that, from what I've seen the lenses but also the cameras at the front help with the boundary, so maybe make sure the cameras are not hidden, and there's some light around you.
I haven't encounter any similar issue, so these might not work, but hope they help 🙂
