I'm working on a Unity experience that aligns a prebuilt virtual scene with a known physical space.
Is there a way to programmatically force a calibration/centering of the headset position, and then to prevent the user from recentering themselves and instantly breaking the physical/virtual seam.

If you use the OVRcamerarigoculus you have a checkmark that says allow re-center.
